How to Use

Identify exactly what you want to opt out of (marketing calls, texts, emails, data sharing, data sale, etc.).
Include account identifiers the company needs to find your record (name, email, phone, account number).
Reference applicable rights or policies if known (state privacy laws, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CCPA/CPRA, etc.).
Give a deadline to confirm your request in writing (e.g., within 10 days).
Send via a trackable method and keep copies of all correspondence.

When to Send an Opt-Out Request

If you’re receiving unwanted communications or believe your data is being used in ways you did not authorize, a written opt-out request creates a clear record and often resolves issues quickly. If the problem continues, your documented request strengthens any complaint or action you may take.
